Hello, I'm Kian!

Having decided to not go to university in 2021 after completing my Level 3 Journalism and Media degree at The Sheffield College, I decided to go into full-time employment and secured a job packing custom-made exhaust pipes and fitting systems.

After working here for two years and having worked in three different departments within the company, I decided to leave as I wanted to use my learned knowledge and adopted mentality to my advantage and set up my own business at 19 years old.

I left a secure, decent paying job to start an online e-commerce store selling pet supplies in February 2023, having operated the business on the side since June 2022, I wanted to go all in and dedicate my full focus to my online business,, however I stopped this as I saw more business potential with the next venture.

Since May 2023, I helped start and operate Citadel Business Academy, a social enterprise committed to helping aspiring entrepreneurs start their first businesses, and also helping startups navigate the difficult beginner challenges that small businesses often face when starting out.​

​

​Throughout all of these ventures, and especially with Citadel, I have dedicated a lot of time towards studying the markets of various types of businesses, and as a coach it was my job to guarantee client results, and to do that I needed to help them understand how to attract and close clients, most of which I identified had come from doing thorough market research into WHO their customers were.

​

​I developed a keen interest in studying customer behaviour, and from which clients had succeeded with us, I had unlocked a key element in increasing numbers of customers/clients, and therefore increasing profits. 

​

I had developed the skill of walking through life looking through a business lense, I can look at any business and witthin seconds see what they're doing well and what they could improve on, I now do this in every shop I go into, both in person and online.

Having developed some invaluable business experience with Citadel Business Academy, I had decided that it was the right time of my career to pursue a business venture where I had complete control over business procedures, as I excel in high responsibility situations where leadership is required, and in April 2025 I set up Precise Market Insights, a dedicated market research consultancy launched with the sole aim to help local businesses better understand their target audience.
